The Shelly BLU Motion is a compact Bluetooth motion sensor with instant responsiveness, adjustable sensitivity, built-in lux meter, and long-lasting battery life. Swift alerts will keep you informed of any motion in real time, while its durable battery ensures long-term peace of mind.
Setup is simple with the Shelly app, connecting to the sensor via Bluetooth, then simply follow the steps and have the device ready in just a few minutes.
The sensor can connect to your wider Shelly network by using another Shelly WiFi-enabled device as a gateway, such as a Shelly BLU Gateway, or any Shelly Plus, Pro or Gen3 device (excluding sensors). Once connected to your Shelly network, you can use it with your Shelly smart home ecosystem, including the Shelly Smart Control app - or link it with a popular home automation software such as Home Assistant via a Raspberry Pi!
Two modes of operation are possible:

Regular mode - the Device broadcasts the motion detection status, illuminance, and battery status each time the motion-detection status changes (motion is detected or no motion is detected during the blind time). You can adjust the blind time from the Device settings in the Shelly Smart Control application.

Beacon mode - the Device broadcasts the motion detection status, illuminance, and battery status every 30 seconds. You can enable the Beacon mode from the Device settings in the Shelly Smart Control application. Battery life may be significantly reduced when the Device is in Beacon mode.
The sensor is powered by a single CR2477 lithium battery, which is included in the package (grab a spare battery here if you want to stock up).
